Pool & Spa Industry advice

Service engineers and technicians are able to attend site to deal with the repair and maintenance of pool plant and equipment to avoid possible health and safety issues, with water hygiene and electrical safety. It is vital that pools and hot tubs can be maintained correctly and often this can only be undertaken by professional service engineers. This will ensure that there are no public health issues with stagnant untreated water from various pathogens such as Pseudomonas, E. coli, Legionella, etc. which can pose a serious risk to health.

Until such time as the Government confirms whether water hygiene management of pools and hot tubs can be added to the list of ‘essential’ work, or it decides that all work in the home regarding repairs and maintenance are to be added to the list of businesses to close, business owners in the pool and hot tub industry will need to make their own decisions about whether they stay open, or not.

Looking after your swimming pool

We at Jetform have taken the decision to stay open until official guidelines change or limitations as a result of a reduced labour force.  Here are some of the steps that we at Jetform are taking to ensure we can continue to offer the same level of service during these difficult times, to enable you to safely use your swimming pools or spas.

Jetform Service Department

  • We are maintaining a skeleton staff attendance at the office, this is purely to accept deliveries and manage materials required by our service engineers.
  • We have ample stock to enable service visits to continue for many weeks and we are in regular contact with our suppliers.
  • All office personnel, who are able to do so, are now working from home.
  • Calls to our main office number (01268 270505) are being forwarded to remote administration. Admin can also be contacted via email on [email protected]
  • Can we kindly encourage you to use email whenever possible if you wish to make contact with Jetform or the service department, this is because we only have one incoming call line available at a time.  The Service Department can be contacted on either [email protected] or [email protected]
  • All of our pool engineers have been provided with suitable PPE to carry out their duties in a clean and safe manner.
  • It is imperative that everyone abides by the physical separation guidelines.  Please ensure you maintain a minimum of 2m distance from Jetform employees, this is to help safeguard you as well as them.
  • If you are at home self-isolating, it is imperative that you advise us before our engineer attends.
  • Engineers are to use side entrances to properties whenever possible.

I would like to personally thank you for all our service clients’ cooperation during these difficult times, so Jetform can continue to stay open and operate for as long as possible, whilst following the Government guidelines at the time.

If you have any questions, issues or concerns about any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact us.
